Brandon from Tamans was able to restore(re-thread) a lug nuts back onto the stud after Costco wasn’t able to and refused to release car.They said I had to tow to mechanic.Brandon from Tatmans showed up to tow and asked what the problem was, I... explained, 2 minutes later the issue was fixed. Our Mazda3 just had a dead battery issue and called AAA for help. The parner happened to be Tatman's Towing which responded very fast. Our friend MIchael Grice came with super enthusiam and he knows everything. He helped us diagnose the battery... issue and provided a jumpstart. The issue was solved and we could drive to the nearest store to replace the old battery. Really helpful and definitely recommend.read more

I had rented a rental car. As I was driving from northern illinois to alabama to visit my sister 3 hours into the ride we got a flat tire. We called enterprise and they were very difficult. We finally got told we could get a tow and get the tire... replaced after 3 hours of waiting. Tatman's Towing is great!! Sam was professional and very helpful. I thought I was going to need to have my car towed to the dealership. However, when Sam arrived he took the time to try to figure out the problem. It was just a simple dead battery... which needed to be jumped. Other towing companies would have just towed it without trying the simple fix first. He also stuck around and made sure it continued to start without just driving off immediately. As a car guy with 6 vehicles, everything from an original VW Beetle and a '77 Chevy short bed to a loaded ‘21 Toyota Venza and a ‘19 Tacoma, I use a lot of tow services.Under factory warranty, the Venza was headed to Napleton Toyota in Urbana, IL.... with a 12V-battery issue. I called Toyota for a tow They called AAA, who called Tatman’s Towing.I had my best-ever experience with Tatman’s driver, DUSTIN AIKMAN. His truck was tidy and he was neatly attired, though he crawls around to secure every condition of vehicle.Dustin was 200% professional. He carefully laced straps through the wheels, and chained down the undercarriage. He secured the ends of the straps so they wouldn’t fly in the wind. At the dealership, Dustin unloaded and stayed with our vehicle until he could release it to the service representative.Dustin is a most skilled, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, intelligent auto expert. He exhibited an understanding of the mechanics, electronics, and software components of the Venza's hybrid system.Dustin was very responsible. He was easy and pleasant to talk with, and seemed truly interested and empathetic with our situation. He completely put us at ease. On a scale of 1 to 5, he earned a 6 stars for TATMAN’S.read more

Made the call. 30 minutes later the tow truck was outside my house and the mechanic was already working. A few minutes more and the problem was solved. Last week my car would not start and I called AAA for a towing service after trying everything I could think of with no luck. The young man they dispatched said his name was Isaac. He tried once again to start my car but it did not work and neither... of us knew what the problem was, so he ended up having to tow it. My car was parked in the garage, so he had me put it in neutral so he could push it out into the driveway. He then hooked my car up to the tow truck with extreme care and precision so that the vehicle did not get damaged. My driveway is on a slight angle, so when pulling out, he was again extremely cautious to not scrape the bumper on the curb. I asked him to tow it to DJ's, which is on Neil and pretty tricky to get into. Isaac was able to tow the car there without a scratch. Isaac was extremely kind and professional and provided excellent service.read more
